It's time.  I'll take it.

Showers ending this morning, then a mix of sun and cloud, with a 30 percent chance of showers.
High 27.
Humidex 32.
UV index 8, or very high.

(Punctuation added by me, because I refuse to give up my leisurely reading habits.)

Anyone catch the transgender ban in the military?

I've seen some really dishonest lowlifes try to pass it off as too expensive in health care costs. But these fools are lying. Because even they know that in a budget of nearly 50 billion a year the transgender costs are only between 2.4 and 8.4 million. A drop in the bucket. But they won't tell you that.

Here's another thing they won't tell you. Look up what it costs the military for viagara a year. Hint: WAAYY more than the transgender cost...

Ha ha ha ha. Alt right racist piece of crap from infowars mouths off about a series about ancient Britain because he doesn't like that the charactars are 'ethnically diverse' (you know how those alt right types are terrified of this...) and then gets completely schooled in a really awesome way by a historian.

Oh those pesky facts eh? The alt right loves to brag about them, but they sure don't like them!
I have to wonder for organizations, such as Bell, shall they continue requiring flash player to view their offering such as CraveTV past 2020? Bell seems bureaucratic or is it pedantic enough to require flash player well into the 20's just because it was used for the prior 20 years, so why not just continue using it.

Bright and sunny, 17° slight breeze heading into the mid to high twenties this afternoon.

It was noted on a local weather cast that this province has had only 50% of average rain fall for June and July. Not an ideal situation.
In an official blog post, Adobe has today announced that it will phase out Flash Player at the end of 2020 (via TechCrunch). At that point, the company will stop updating and distributing Flash. For the next 3 years or so, Adobe will partner withApple, Mozilla, Microsoft and Google to offer security updates for Flash in their browsers, but beyond that, it will not offer any new Flash features.

Adobe has also said that it will be more aggressive about ending support for Flash “in certain geographies where unlicensed and outdated versions of Flash Player are being distributed”. Adobe also noted that the number of companies that rely on Flash has steadily decreased over the last few years, even though a number of holdouts remain, especially in gaming space.

In the light of Adobe’s announcement, Facebook has said that it will help game developers on its platform migrate to open web standards:

As open web standards like WebGL and HTML5 rapidly advanced to offer many of the web game development capabilities provided by Flash, it became clear that Flash’s lifespan was limited.

As a result, we’ve partnered with game developers to support their HTML5 efforts, helping them continue to deliver games on Facebook. Today, more than 200 HTML5 games are live on our platform, most of which launched within the last year. Many of the largest developers on the platform — including King, Plarium and others — migrated at least one Flash game to HTML5 on the Facebook platform with minimal impact to their existing customers.

The social networking giant also recommended that developers building new games for should use open web standards instead of Flash.

Interesting read. It seems, Kahdr isn't the only one to receive millions in compensation, there's a far bigger story that is being conveniently not mentioned while the conservatives are busy mouthing off and fanning the flames over this recent payout. Some conservatives are even publically admitting they'd rather waste millions more in taxpayers dollars to continue fighting it (which would only eventually end up resulting in paying out millions more but these fools just can't fathom that..) perhaps the conservatives should be somewhat careful about mouthing off about this because boy, this can really backfire pretty badly. I suspect Trudeau, is biding his time and will enjoy the revenge when it's most effective.

Man these conservatives aren't very bright are they.

As the article says, some trump supporters who have realized they've been had by a total fraud are suddenly getting quiet, not wearing their 'make America great again' hats so much now.

Just some of the trump supporters are beginning to wake up. I wonder though, what happens when a majority of them do, and don't see a solution in the next election?
