https://thinkprogress.org/kris-kobach-voter-fraud-findings-ebe089540ede/

Ha ha ha ha ha. Well. Remember all the ballyhoo that went with all the fanfare of “voter fraud!!!”  Because man-child trump couldn’t stand having lost the popular vote? Not to mention the fact that it’s hard to believe that if voter fraud actually existed that republicans aren’t capable of it either...

Anyway. So, the voter fraud commission that was set up with great fanfare, was quietly disbanded! They apparently met twice, and that’s it. One feeble trumpet mumbles it’s because the ‘lefty states won’t give their data’. First, one has to wonder why there is a need for voter cheating in solidly democrat states but besides that, the commission had plenty of confidential voter data! Did they not find... anything? Nothing to report at all? Because you know how the republicans lose their minds if they find 2 or 3!!! (Usually found later to be incorrect but hey...)

You really just have to laugh at the ones who spent all that time railing about it online, only to have the rug pulled right out from under them by their main man trump. Laugh, as in laugh the hell out loud :) :)

Last evening CNN went hard on DJT's "shithole countries" comment and calling him out as a bigot and a racist.

The Trumpeteers were out in full force saying he's not/ it's not racist policy it's an economic argument.

Except there is no basis for the curbing of immigration for economic reasons and Trump has demonstrated repeatedly his bigoted and racist ways which was clearly pointed out to the apologists.

CNN hosts did not shy away from the word "shithole," they said it repeatedly and often.

It was good to see DJT called out and the apologists dispatched.

So if trump was willing to lie about the ‘shithole’ stuff so easily, clearly he is lying about a lot of other things too.

Trump, a liar - who knew?

Seriously, this is news? Wouldn't it be news if Trump wasn't lying about something?

The shithole comment is a new, entirely vulgar low. Apparently it's how this guy often speaks behind closed doors, but still. The fact that he lied about ever having said it is par for the course. It's what he does - deflect, deny, derail.

The positive(?) out of this is not calling Trump a liar ( no news there as Max points out) but the full frontal assault by calling Trump out  as a racist.

The full frontal attack on his vulgar language as well.

Hillary Clinton obsessives (she lost boys!!! ;) ) are losing their minds because of this: https://www.reuters.com/article/us-usa-russia-corruption/u-s-charges-maryland-businessman-with-bribing-russian-official-idUSKBN1F12QS

Still no word how this person is in any way connected to Hillary Clinton, was on her campaign team at any time, what if anything?

Nope, just makin' it sound like he is somehow. The desperation, is rising.

Sounds like this will end up with a quiet deflation and closure you won't hear about, just like when the Benghazi investigation was quietly closed right after the election... just like the election fraud commission was closed quietly recently, despite having plenty of data to study...

wonder what they'll think of next to deflect...

On CBC Radio One's science show Quirks and Quarks a Psychiatrist makes the argument that Donald Trump's mental state is a security risk. If you care to listen the segment is about 15 minutes long.

The URL for the show on the CBC Radio app is here http://www.cbc.ca/listen/shows/quirks-and-quarks/segment/15462603

A full synopsis of the medical report without any psychological evaluation shall be released on Tuesday.

Then there's always Marine One which is generally a Sikorsky SH-3 Sea King and Canadians know well  the stories of the Sea King's reliability.  ;D

Quote from: Wikipedia
Marine One is the call sign of any United States Marine Corps aircraft carrying the President of the United States.[1] It usually denotes a helicopter operated by Marine Helicopter Squadron One (HMX-1 "Nighthawks"), either the large Sikorsky SH-3 Sea King or the newer, smaller VH-60N "White Hawk".

The racist Muslim haters that continually go on about ‘no go zones’ etc are probably going to be real quiet about this one.

Boom. A total fabrication. As is much of the rest of it.

Yeah, these loud-mouthed knowingly-lying creeps should be outed at every opportunity.

The faux apology, "Oops (giggle giggle) I mis-spoke. I'm so ashamed/shocked/upset … " , after the damage has been done makes them even more despicable.

Well, as I've also learned on FB, "Never argue with a fool, onlookers may not be able to tell the difference.”

Ive learned that with these types, it's all about yelling whatever they believe over and over again, even in the face of facts. The more facts you present, the louder they will yell that they have better facts, despite never actually presenting them beyond some extreme right wing dubious sources and OPINIONS. They will never admit that they were wrong, ever, even if what you present is indisputable. So when you finally give up, they'll do a victory dance, and declare that their factual evidence owned you. Then they simply wait for the next person and the process repeats. Often, you'll find that these sorts are left with very few people willing to engage them. It never dawns on them, that perhaps, no one is interested in their nonsense.

So no, I won't bother engaging them directly. I'll just let the facts stand for itself, and if they don't accept it, it's not me that looks like a liar. :)

Sometimes I find myself wondering how much of the traffic generated on Big Social is the direct result of foreign actors engaged in propaganda. The Russians can't be the only ones doing it. After all, so much of public opinion these days is forged (steered?) via social media.

Arguing online has never been a particularly great idea in the first place, but these days there are too many attempts at deliberate diversion, misinformation, denial, obfuscation, straw man arguments... meh.

It's a cauldron of unauthentic actions.

It’s particularly telling when they steer the conversation from the current president and his (mis)deeds to Clinton, who isn’t, and has never been president. The only time that can be relevant, is if trump was being blamed for a policy of a previous president. That isn’t the case. Hey they insist on deflection with the barrage of unrelated nonsense. If there’s misdeeds, by all means call it out, with facts not extreme right wing/Russian troll sites.

These sorts are using that deflection to somehow, justify trump. It’s the ol ‘look at the other guy’ stuff. Yawn.
