My guess is, that Pence will prove to be deeply unpopular. The let down of trump not being president (where is our messiah??? ) and pence really, just being a much less likable and lamer version of George Bush, it won't go well is my prediction.

Trump's most ardent supporters won't be let down, they will just be more brainlessly angry.

Ideologue will actually achieve agenda vs. Narcissist may start World War III because it bolsters his ego....

It's a tough call.

Yeah - I was going to say something to that effect. If those are the only two options, then Pence's actions may be reversible - though I fear for the ongoing environmental degradation - but WWIII? The effects of that could be unimaginable, depending on how far things went. Not a happy choice, is it?

Yep the Super Elite have managed to get the Donald to go along with Hiliaries main platform plank.

Not good for the rest of us, but the Demorats have been doing everything they can to ratchet up friction with Russia, so they really have no right to complain if Trump winds up starting WWIII.

Interesting that they are upset that Trump may have revealed the inner working of ISIS to the Russians. This would only be a problem if the US and it's Israeli ally are closely aligned with ISIS. In that case giving information to the one nation actively fighting ISIS would be an issue. Otherwise smokescreen stuff.

Go along with Hillary's main campaign plank?

Is this the latest pivot? ;)

Hillary was no where near a policy of WW3 with Russia. This is a bunch of 'alt news' nonsense seeded out to discredit her. There may be plenty to criticize about her foreign policy, but this doesn't even have anything to back it up.

I guess every president since WW2 has been intent on war with Russia??

Additionally, the reason why it's a problem that Russia is now privy to classified intel, is that it will known where it came from from a plant within isis. Now think about that for a second, perhaps, it may be the opposite of what you're thinking...

And now it's a nine-day trip abroad. How will the man-baby President do, I wonder, legendary non-traveler that he is - while at home they continue to peck away at all those pesky Russian connections and Trump's seemingly endless efforts to subvert democracy: the calculated destruction of net neutrality under his watch and with his blessing, threatening people whose job it is to look into Trump's own questionable ethics and possibly worse.... this cowardly bully who hasn't met a fellow bully he doesn't like - Erdogan and Putin, to name but two.

Something new every day. What a clownish presidency this has become.

So.... get this.

Trump makes up a rule (executive order?) that says if you worked with a law firm that represented someone you're investigating well, you can't. Period.

So, despite deputy AG appointing special counsel Robert mueller, his former law firm represented both Kushner and... Manafort. You don't think this was arranged?

Now get this... trump really wanted Lieberman for FBI director. Even Lieberman was surprised by the possibility, and when he apparently wasn't interested Trump called him.

Lieberman's former law firm represented Trump.

Now you just think about that for a quick moment. You don't think trump has anything to hide re: Russians??

Ha ha ha ha. Riiiiiiiight.

I've always thought this Hannity guy was a total sham but it's hard to believe even this guy, who isn't quite the fraud brietbart or Alex jones is, is still pushing this thoroughly debunked crap.

But there's always going to be enough that will actually believe this stuff, just like the pizzagate thing.

I keep seeing some alt right types, constantly posting all about how Islam is a religion of violence. Know nothing morons, but one has to wonder if any of the other horrific violence not done by anyone Muslim ever even registers.

Y'know, this sort of thing that keeps happening and none of them ever, point it out....

Powerful post. And blatantly obvious. It's just incredible how trump's election has given voice to so many bigots. Today I even saw someone refer to Muslims as 'dirty Muslims'.

Written by a filthy disgusting bigot no less, it just disgusts me to see people get away with this crap. Days after a white supremacist fatally stabbed two people, one of them a 27 year veteran with 4 kids! Their crime? Stepping in to stop the white supremacist from harassing women who were Muslim. Oh he's 'mentally ill' they say. Right, you're a filthy piece of shyte for trying to justify it.

I'm officially disgusted today with some people. Unbelievable, sorry not sorry for the strong words.

Quote
No, White Friend—You Weren’t “Embarrassed” by Barack Obama
MAY 26, 2017 / JOHN PAVLOVITZ

I remember the day after the Election, a friend of mine who happens to be white, remarked on social media that he “finally wasn’t embarrassed of America and our President.”

I sprained my eyes rolling them and they have never fully recovered.

Since then I’ve heard this sentiment echoed by more white folks than I can count, especially in recent months; supposed relief at once again having a leader who instills pride.

Since I don’t have the time to ask each of the individually, I’ll ask here:

So, you were embarrassed for the past 8 years, huh?

Really?

What exactly were you embarrassed by?

Were you embarrassed by his lone and enduring twenty-five year marriage to a strong woman he’s never ceased to publicly praise, respect, or cherish?

Were you embarrassed by the way he lovingly and sweetly parented and protected his daughters?

Were you embarrassed by his Columbia University degree in Political Science or his graduating magna cum laude from Harvard Law School?

Maybe you were embarrassed by his white American and Black Kenyan parents, or the diversity he was raised in as normal?

Were you embarrassed by his eloquence, his quick wit, his easy humor, his seeming comfort meeting with both world leaders and street cleaners; by his bright smile or his sense of empathy or his steadiness—perhaps by his lack of personal scandals or verbal gaffes or impulsive tirades?

No. Of course you weren’t.

Honestly, I don’t believe you were ever embarrassed. That word implies an association that brings ridicule, one that makes you ashamed by association, and if that’s something you claim to have experienced over the past eight years by having Barack Obama representing you in the world—I’m going to suggest you rethink your word choice.

You weren’t “embarrassed” by Barack Obama.

You were threatened by him.
You were offended by him.
You were challenged by him.
You were enraged by him.

But I don’t believe it had anything to do with his resume or his experience or his character or his conduct in office—because you seem fully proud right now to be associated with a three-time married, serial adulterer and confessed predator; a man whose election and business dealings and relationships are riddled with controversy and malfeasance. You’re perfectly fine being represented by a bullying, obnoxious, genitalia-grabbing, Tweet-ranting, Prime Minister-shoving charlatan who’s managed to offended all our allies in a few short months. And you’re okay with him putting on religious faith like a rented, dusty, ill-fitting tuxedo and immediately tossing it in the garbage when he’s finished with it.

None of that you’re embarrassed of? I wonder how that works.

Actually, I’m afraid I have an idea. I hope I’m wrong.

Listen, you’re perfectly within your rights to have disagreed with Barack Obama’s policies or to have taken issue with his tactics. No one’s claiming he was a flawless politician or a perfect human being. But somehow I don’t think that’s what we’re talking about here. I think the thing President Obama did that really upset you, white friend—was having a complexion that was far darker than you were ever comfortable with. I think the President we have now feels much better.

Because objectively speaking, if what’s happening in our country right now doesn’t cause you great shame and doesn’t induce the continual meeting of your palm to your face—I don’t believe embarrassment is ever something you struggle with.

No, if you claimed to be “embarrassed” by Barack Obama but you’re not embarrassed by Donald Trump—I’m going to strongly suggest it was largely a pigmentation issue.

And as an American and a Christian committed to diversity and equality and to the liberty at the heart of this nation—that, embarrasses me.
