Well after another 40cm of snow and drifted snow I shall be busy in the next days to clean up the 70 cm of snow that has fallen in less than a week.

I shall have make room for the snow I shall scrape off the roof to then "blow away" to make room for the snow that is forecasted to fall from the third storm (by Friday) in a week. February in the MerryTimes you gotta love it.

Today is solid overcast and still snowing lightly, the winds are still blowing, but more lightly. The temperature(s) is -6°C feeling like -13. I shall finish this coffee then I shall go "play in the snow."

I feel your pain...

Taking a day off work today to tackle the roof. Pulling the snow down isn't the part I hate, it's clearing the piles away afterwards especially as it compacts and tends to freeze harder after being disturbed. And I'm almost out of places to get rid of it. Anyway I guess I'll get started soon, sigh.

I totally agree with you the second move of the "ground snow" is much more difficult than bringing down the "roof snow." I find moving the "ground snow" sooner rather than later, a better strategy.  It is easier by only by comparison.

Spent 7 hours clearing and widening the areas around the house and the places where the "roof snow" shall be transferred to. Getting back from the house I could better see the snow on the roof. The roof wasn't as bad as I initially thought. I shall get that job tomorrow.

A mix of sun and clouds, light winds -6°C, the proverbial "calm before the storm" as our area is under another storm warning.

Up to 30cm of snow and up to 90 Km/h winds are forecasted. The storm shall arrive later this evening and shall storm overnight.

Cloudy, snow at times heavy and blowing snow, this morning according to Environment Canad'a's radar, the snow was falling at nearly 3 cm's an hour.

The sky has brightened and the snow is not falling as intensely presently, much more snow fell in a shorter period during than the last storm. This storm is forecast to move through more quickly than the last which is good news.

The temperature is -4°C feeling like -8 with a 19Km/h wind.

Mostly cloudy, blowing snow, windy 30 to 40 km/h with the gusts -4°C feeling like -12.

35cm of snow yesterday with well over 100 cm in a week. Not to mention the drifting. Back out to play in the winter wonderland providing exercise and fresh air (when not inhaling carbon monoxide and other exhausts from the snowblower.)

Such a mild day. It's +7 and mostly cloudy right now but it was nice and sunny earlier. Spent a few hours shovelling more snow off the roof and tidying up. Now it's time for a glass of port before I get supper on. :)
