Cloudy, 4°C,  light winds barometric pressure is tending to lower as a low pressure system is forming off the Eastern Seaboard of the USA.

As such the further east is under a Special Weather Statement from Environment Canada. This statement has changed many times over the past few days.

Snow, ice pellets, freezing rain and rain are possible. Originally the Special Weather Statement said the inclement Weather would start as early as this afternoon. Presently the 💩 weather is forecast to begin in the wee hours of Monday morning. We shall see what falls from the sky when it falls.

For the first day of spring I awoke to a surprisingly wonderful day.

Blue skies to the west and a mix of sun and clouds to the east. The winter storm is hitting Nova Scotia  with full force.  So far we have escaped.

A bit of wind, a cool -3°C feeling like -11, but so far no snow, nor ice pellets, nor freezing rain. Yahoo we dodged a bullet.

A sunny mild plus 2°C, a fine early spring day. Tomorrow not so much, as we are under a weather statement of a snowy day on Wednesday. However as the low pressure system is only forming presently, we shall have to wait and see the outcome tomorrow.

Wow we have been upgraded from a Special Weather Statement to a Blizzard Warning from Environment Canada and according to EC the low pressure system hasn't, formed over Southern Quebec thus far. We shall see what the morrow shall bring.

Presently it's 4°C, mostly cloudy and light winds. From a lovely early spring day back into winter weather, little wonder it has been often opined "March is the cruelest month."

It seems the forecasted blizzard is being forecasted but not yet materialized. There is no snow presently. The snow may show up this evening. The temperature is plus one. According to radar there's some precipitation around south-east NB but none falling here.

The temperatures are predicted to be as high as  plus 4°C by mid afternoon and the temperature shall commence to recede after 3PM.

Winds are relatively light at 22Km/h the sky is cloudy but no perception.

The preemptive milk, bread and "storm chips" have been purchased, we shall  be, ever vigilant for the storm. Further updates to follow as required.

Sunny and windy very little snow fell last night, in fact, many kids were disappointed by no snow day today. Only school busses delayed by up to hour.

Temperatures -10°C feeling like -20 presently.  Cape  Breton once again is being clobbered by this storm. North Shore Nova Scotia and Northern New Brunswick were hit harder by this storm than was South Eastern New Brunswick. Another bullet dodged here.

Had a freezing rain warning but accumulation is hardly noticeable. A bit more to come this morning. Grey out there of course, temperature right at zero.

Cloudy, winds are light, chance of flurries -3°C feeling like -9. The snow flurries from yesterday and overnight left a fresh white coating on everything.

How much? Enough to sweep off the windows and flat surfaces of the car but not enough to bother to shovel to get out of the driveway.
