Wow! why aren't you bitching about all those sucky laptops with only two PCMCIA slots! You need 3! Or may be you don't. Here goes! SCSI can be done with a firewire adapter that is no more cumbersum than the scsi cable. Zoomed Video input is available, but I really don't understand the need. The nic can be handled with USB adapter, but I really wonder what you need a second NIC in your laptop for? Are you really going to use this as a router? Sounds like a stupid use of a laptop to me. Ok! back to the drawing board. Why else do you need additional PCMCIA slots, or are you willing to just admit that you were wrong on this point. That even if you can come up with a situation that 2 are necessary that only 1 out of every 32,767 users might need it and that it is better to keep size down than add a mostly useless slot! Bring it on!
