I just received my Ti 400/20gb after only waiting 1 1/2 weeks. ( I was told I was 30 days out!) This machine is incredible! I work as an Industrial Designer and wanted a machine for home/work/play and so far this has been perfect. Photoshop runs like a champ and looks beautiful on the large format screen. I've created a couple of 3D interior spaces and rendered them (slower than my desktop but I expected this) and It does an adequate job for smaller models. I've even played a few online Dues Ex games without a hitch. I would have loved to have a faster graphics card onboard but who knows when that will happen. I've used my bosses G3/500 for the last year and this machine seems to be faster while doing most tasks but the old book seems to beat it in other things. The gripes that people have with this machines lack of expandibility (media bays, #of firewire, PCMCIA slots) seems silly. I consider myself an above average Mac user and I believe that this machine is set up perfect for most of us. I personaly don't know anyone else that needs more than this machine can offer. Although for serious hardcore graphics and modeling the Ti still can't top a desktop machine but that's not why I bought it!
